@codismyBxTCH I just did that same thing. If you had an Aussie license just bring that, another photo ID, and the $. Check the cali DMV website under the “if you are over 18″ category.

A question; if I’m Australian and thinking of moving somewhere in California at about the age of 22, what will I need to do to get a drivers license?

@billyjoebobman All on the street and they won’t make you parallel park anymore. Now they just make you pull over to the curb somewhere (it was residential for me) and back the car a few car lengths.

The only thing I did wrong on my test today was not looking over my shoulder while entering a bike lane in a neighborhood. I still passed. Although my sister failed because she didn’t look over her shoulder, but I passed!!!

My drive test is tomorrow. I learned how to drive when I was eleven, but I’m FREAKING OUT! It’s probably no big deal, but still. I’m such a freak about not passing a test that I stress myself out like crazy. I think I’m a pretty good driver, but I think it’s just that since it’s a test, I get nervous. Aaaahhhh! Wish me luck. :)

I lost the appointment paper for my road test! But I still have my permit and the receipt! Will it matter??? Can i get a new one???

Walletman23

You can’t take your drivers license test anyways, gotta pass drivers training and there behind the wheel through a school…then when you do that and hold your license for 6 months then you go to DMV for your license

I passed my test today! I was so scared, but it was actually really really easy. If you’re nervous, don’t be. As long as you can drive without hitting anything, then you’ll probably pass lol.

adkish19 October 15, 2011 at 10:11 am

i passed this, just one take real easy’ easiest thing u could ever do

You’ve got some time. Practice with your parents. Remember it’s always better to go slow than to go fast. Most important thing is take your time. Don’t rush, stop at stop signs for 3 seconds, remember your blinkers, always look over your shoulder and you will be fine. Relax :)

walletman23 October 15, 2011 at 11:56 am

Well I’m pretty nervous about doing the test. I’m 15 and a half but pretty paranoid about the speed like how am I suppose to know when to slow down or speed up, or when getting on a freeway and their are some cars around you.

I need some learning to do so thats why i’m watching these videos.

I passed my license test on my first try today!.. .woot :)

djBC10000 October 15, 2011 at 12:57 pm

@NuminousChild Yes u can make a right turn on a red light, but first u have to make sure that no cars from the left or front are going in the lane u want to enter.

if you see cars moving then stop, because u dont have the right to move on a red light, only when the area is clear.

aircutter360 October 15, 2011 at 1:26 pm

passed my test today! seriously watch all these dmv videos they tell you a lot of important information.

darkroomfam October 15, 2011 at 1:47 pm

@FutureSoapStar09 really…..me too well i wish you good luck

FutureSoapStar09 October 15, 2011 at 1:59 pm

I take my test Tuesday and I’m nervous. Not for the big things like looking over your shoulder in a lane change, but for small stuff like the occasional hard stop.

NuminousChild October 15, 2011 at 2:53 pm

when you’re going to take your test, can you make a right turn on a red light? cause i heard from somebody that you can’t.
